    After graduating from college in 1975 with a Bachelor of Science degree, Bob entered the working force in management with Roadway Express, a less than truckload common carrier. He remained with Roadway Express for nineteen years, working in management and sales, making moves along the way to Grand Rapids, Madison Heights, Warren, Alma, and in 1989 to Jackson, MI. Married to Myra (his college sweetheart) in 1978, they have two grown daughters, Elizabeth and Maribeth.

    In 1997, working for a transportation company that closed their doors, Bob decided to pursue Real Estate as a career. He received his real estate license in June of 1997 and has been active ever since. In 2003, Bob earned his GRI and ABR professional designations, as well as acquiring his Associate Brokers license.

    Bob is a member of the Jackson Area Association of Realtors, the Michigan Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors. He is involved in many organizations in the Jackson area, including the Jackson Chamber of Commerce, Jaycees, Rotary Club, and Elks Club. He enjoys sports, active in the local community softball and bowling leagues. Bob also has taken up running to fill his exercise need.

    When not involved with his career in real estate, Bob enjoys spending time with his family, and you might even catch him on the softball diamond or at the local area running races.

    Myra Sonsara REALTOR works with husband Bob Sonsara, ASSOCIATE BROKER.  Myra graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 1976 with a BFA and Oakland University in 1978 with a MAT. 

    Myra has also taught school for over 33 years and has experience with elementary, special education.  Her current position is teaching middle school art.  She is a member of the JCEA & MEA.  Myra has been a resident of Jackson since 1988, been married for over 31 years, has two grown daughters and enjoys being with her family.  Her involvement in the schools has lead her to her involvements with Habitat for Humanity, Art can Gogh, and painting murals with her students.

    Myra enjoys working with all types of home buyers, from first time buyers to helping those that are wishing to down size.  She also enjoys working with sellers, making sure to market their home to get it sold quickly.

    Exit Realty 1st welcomes Irv French.  Irv is a 56 yr. resident of Jackson and lives in the Essex Heights neighborhood with his wife.  He has a married daughter and one granddaughter. Irv’s work history includes, Cost Accountant at Albion Malleable Iron Co., Treasurer Tompkins-Johnson Co., U.S. Army, and Business Consultant with a B.A. from MSU.  Irv worked with The Brokerage House for 12 yrs., initially residential then specializing in Commercial.  He attained a CCIM designation in 1999 and is currently active with CCIM nationally and locally.  Irv is on the Designation Committee nationally, Reviewer of national and international Portfolio of Qualifying Activities for CCIM Candidates, conducts CCIM workshops locally and internationally and is a Director for the Michigan CCIM chapter.
